New Research by Numara Software Finds IT Organizations Will Fail More Software License Audits Than They Think and Webinar Explains Risks, Best Practices and Offers Guidance

Tampa, Fla., November 3, 2010 – Numara® Software, Inc., a global leader in service management and asset management solutions for IT professionals, will reveal results from its 2010 Software License Management Benchmark Survey in a new webinar. Results show that many organizations underestimate their risk for software license non-compliance much more than they realize.  As more software companies conduct software audits to rein in the unsanctioned use of software and make up for deficits in new license revenue in a down economy, organizations are unnecessarily exposing themselves to the possibility of stiff fines if software audits occur and they are not in compliance with license agreements.
